This form is intended for owners who are not surrendering their rabbit(s) to our rescue, but who are looking for assistance in finding them a new, suitable home while continuing to care for them in the meantime. 

By completing this form, you provide us with the information we need to create an accurate and appealing adoption listing. The more details and photos you share, the better chance we have of finding the right home.

Rehoming a rabbit is often a gradual process, and while we will do our best to assist, we cannot guarantee placement by a specific date.

Terms and Acknowledgements

Please read the following Terms and Acknowledgements carefully and thoroughly:

  1. I give Hop and Flop Rabbit Rescue permission to list my rabbit(s) on their social media and website to assist with rehoming.

  2. I confirm that the information provided in this surrender form is accurate and truthful to the best of my knowledge. 

  3. All medical records and vaccination certificates will be provided to Hop and Flop Rabbit Rescue after the completion of this form. 

  4. I will not rehome the rabbit(s) on my own or allow any unscreened adoptions while the rabbit(s) are listed with Hop and Flop Rabbit Rescue. Should a potential adopter approach me, I will direct them to Hop and Flop Rabbit Rescue

  5. I agree to notify Hop and Flop Rabbit Rescue immediately if I no longer wish to rehome the rabbit(s) or if they are no longer available for adoption (e.g., due to a change in circumstances or a private decision to keep them).

  6. I understand that Hop and Flop Rabbit Rescue is assisting with rehoming as a courtesy, and that I retain full responsibility for the care and wellbeing of the rabbit(s) until a new home is secured.

  7. I understand that Hop and Flop Rabbit Rescue cannot guarantee that a new home will be found, and that timeframes may vary based on interest and suitability of adopters. 

  8. I give Hop and Flop Rabbit Rescue permission to use the information and photos provided in this form for the purpose of marketing the rabbit(s) for adoption on social media, websites, or other platforms.

  9. I agree to keep Hop and Flop Rabbit Rescue updated on any changes to the rabbit’s health, behaviour, or availability while the rehoming process is ongoing. 

  10. I understand that Hop and Flop Rabbit Rescue will request an adoption fee, which is intended to promote responsible adoption. Where applicable, this fee will help cover the cost of sterilising my rabbit(s) before they are rehomed.
